Todd Young Announces Record Shattering $2M Fundraising Haul; $4.5M Cash On Hand

CARMEL, Ind. – The campaign of U.S. Senator Todd Young raised a record-setting $2 million in the second quarter of 2021. This shatters the record for the most federal money raised in an off-year quarter in Indiana history. Young received over 10,000 contributions, ninety-three percent of which were under $100. The campaign ended Q-2 with $4.5 million cash on hand.

This reinforces the fact that, nationally, Young is one of the Republican Party’s most prolific fundraisers. During his stint as NRSC Chairman, where he fought to defend President Trump’s Senate Majority, Todd raised a record $335 million and now brings a 50 state, presidential-level finance operation into his first re-elect. Young has raised $7.75 million this cycle with over 45,000 contributions.

Earlier this year, Young kicked off his re-election campaign by releasing the endorsements of more than 320 prominent Hoosier conservative leaders, including:

  • 2 Hoosier Vice Presidents
  • 9 Hoosier Trump Admin Officials
  • 100% of Indiana GOP Statewide Officeholders
  • 10 Indiana Republican Party Chairs
  • 100% of Indiana GOP Members of Congress
  • 96% of Republicans in the General Assembly
  • 92% of Republican County Chairs
  • 50 Indiana Mayors

Todd is undefeated against five sitting or former members of Congress in Indiana politics – more than any candidate in Hoosier political history. This includes Evan Bayh, whom Todd defeated by 10% in 2016, despite starting the race down 28% in the polls with only $1 million compared to Bayh’s $10 million.

The record-setting fundraising quarter comes on top of Young launching a brand new logo and website, and last quarter’s top-notch campaign Finance Team announcement.
