Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court to eliminate the conservative majority that grew under President Trump’s leadership.
Todd is working to ensure that Democrats can’t pack the court with liberal judges by introducing a constitutional amendment that would lock in the size of the court at nine seats. The Supreme Court has had nine seats since 1869 and it would be disgraceful if Democrats changed that for political gain.
“The Supreme Court is critical to our system of checks and balances, and proposals that call for expanding the Court to further partisan goals are antithetical to American values. Such efforts would irreparably harm our democracy and Americans’ faith in our institutions.
